BOARDING AND DAYCARE/SITTING AND WALKING I have grouped these four services together since most of the businesses that are included do at least two of these things. Most typically, a business that does boarding also does daycare and a business that does dog-walking also does pet-sitting. Formerly know as Classy Canine Bed and Biscuit, this is the premier place to leave your dog in the area. Karla Demmer, the owner, keeps the dogs in her house, living with her and her assistants and they also have access to a large fenced yard. Karla only accepts dog friendly dogs and all dogs must pass a screening. She also does dog-daycare. I have had tons of positive referrals for Karla's, only one bad report. The big problem is that you need to reserve your spot EARLY, since it is the first place to fill up!
Animal Camp I have also received numerous positive referrals for Animal Camp in Chelsea.
It is a nice clean place where dog-friendly dogs get play-times with other
dog-friendly dogs boarding there. They do not have a website, but give
them a call at
I will forgive the fact that they stole my name (Arbor Dog and Ann Arbor Dog, yes I had it first), this was the first daycare facility located in Ann Arbor. They are located on South Main Street, by Briarwood Mall. They have large indoor play areas and webcams so you can watch your dog from work. They also do limited boarding.
Located behind the K-Marts in Maple Village, Karniks is the newest daycare/boarding facility. I have yet to visit the place, but I have had a positive referral to the place.
I am looking for referrals for pet sitters/walkers. I know there are a lot of them out there, but I need positive referrals! |
